Renews ISO 27001:2013 Certification

TimeTec acquired ISO 2 7001:2013 initially on 8th March 2018, and the Company had undergone Surveillance Audits by CyberSecurity Malaysia in the next two following years.

In 2021, the Company had to do a recertification audit with the accreditation body, CyberSecurity Malaysia. They need to examine its ISMS (Information Security Management System) and confirm that it is developed per the award recertification standard.

It is pleased to announce that TimeTec has completed its Recertification Audit for the MS ISO/IEC 27001:2013 with CyberSecurity Malaysia on 25-27 January 2021.

Trivia: The difference between Certification Audit and Surveillance Audit.
Certification Audit checks all the main elements of the management system are in places such as documentation, records, processes, and the auditor checks that the main processes work as described in the documentation. Surveillance Audit is for the certification body to visit and check whether your management system works in everyday operation. The audit team makes sure that all the incidents are recorded, all the measurements made, all corrective and preventive actions properly recorded and implemented. And, the top management supports and complies with ISMS.
