Company X employs approximately 2000 employees and to manage all of its staff force, the Company deploys TimeTec TA for time attendance system and TimeTec Leave for leave management system. Additionally, the Company is also prepared for its future recruitments with the adoption of TimeTec Hire that not only eases crucial hiring processes but it is also designed complete with an onboarding feature for the benefit of HR department. All of these applications have been designed to share a centralized database with a tool known as TimeTec Profile.

On the other hand, FingerTec biometric terminals are installed at entrances of every outlet as/data collection tools for dual purposes, door access and time attendance, while TimeTec Access is installed as an additional access control system. With TimeTec, the data from the devices can be processed concurrently with door access data managed by TimeTec Access, and attendance data be processed by TimeTec TA.

Managing Visitors and Security

At the Company X HQ lobby, the guards on duty are supplied with TimeTec VMS to manage visitors comings and goings using QR codes to be scanned with TimeTec QR master reader integrated with an array of TimeTec IoT devices such as BLE-2, BLE-5 and BLE-16, that are connected to TimeTec Access for employees' access control purposes. With the QR codes generated by the TimeTec VMS, visitors can access all the authorised doors, flap barriers and elevators with ease.

Additionally, the guards at the HQ are also using TimeTec Patrol as a tool to perform round-the-clock patrol guard tour based on their patrol schedules and NFC-tagged routes to heighten security. When pre-registered visitors enter a parking area, the barrier gate installed with TimeTec BLE-2 and License Plate Recognition (LPR) will open to prompt TimeTec, i-Ad and i-Merchants promotions on the guest's smartphone that highlight the nearby shopping mall's latest deals. Guests can pay for their parking fees and generate e-receipts via the same App when the is using TimeTec Parking as its parking system.

Managing Cost and Convenience

In managing the inflated operation cost, the building management downscaled the number of security guards by deploying TimeTec Hubot for Visitor Management System and Patrol purposes. When the same guest wants to visit a relative staying in a neighbourhood that is using i-Neighbour that has been integrated with i-Account for Smart Community Accounting System, he can use the same App to pre-register for himself. EpiCamera as a cloud surveillance system can be integrated with TimeTec Patrol, TimeTec Access, and i-Neighbour to improve the overall security of the area and i-Environ can be added as an extra environmental module to bring about greater benefits to the communities.
