Perbadanan Kemajuan Pertanian Selangor (PKPS), a government agency located in Shah Alam, Selangor, was established in 1966. This agency is responsible for redeeming paddy lands, lending to farmers purchase paddy lands, and providing loans to purchase machinery for paddy fields. PKPS is responsible for developing the plantation and agro-based industries to enhance the State of Selangor's socio-economic development while conducting commercial projects to benefit the people. They are also involved in commercial agriculture projects and oil palm plantation development programs for Selangor folks such as the Bukit Cherakah Green Revolution Plan, Kachong Darat Idle Land Plan and Busut Youth Land Plan.
Managing an active workforce that always has to deal with the public, the whereabouts, and the team's availability is key. Without proper attendance and leave management system, it could disrupt the operation's efficiency significantly. Previously, PKPS keyed in attendance and leave data using a manual method.
