Yamaha brand needs no introduction. This reputable brand that was founded over 132 years ago has been providing the world with a variety of products and services centered on sound and music. In April 2016, Yamaha embarked on a basic strategy to consolidate competitive superiority through adding new values and differentiation to its clients the world over. Hence, the company established an “Innovation Center” to focus more on R&D that can accelerate innovation by promoting interchange among technical personnel and collaboration both internally and with related parties outside of Yamaha. The center is located at the free trade zone in Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia known as Yamaha Electronic Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd., a building that houses more than 2000 Yamaha dedicated staffs.
The center was already secured with a card system but it was dated and needed upgrading after a few years of using.
