No matter which country, what continent you are on, FingerTec’s promise to accommodate the needs of people in accordance with the country’s culture and tradition stands. In this case scenario, we recognise the concerns that are faced by Iranian users and finally, we have brought the Persian Calendar to TimeTec Cloud. The Persian calendar is the official calendar for countries like Iran and some of it’s neighbouring territories.

Known also as the Jalali calendar, the Persian calendar is a solar calendar with a starting point that matches that of the Islamic Hijr calendar. Apart from that, this is where the similarities between both calendars end. The origin of the Persian calendar can be traced back to the 11th century when a group of astronomers created a calendar which is based on the actual observation of the sun.

Do you know that the Persian calendar is named after king Jalal-al-Din Malek-Shah Saljouqi? Iranian mathematician Omar Khayyam calculated the months by basing it on solar transits through the zodiac. He created a system inspired by Hindu and Chinese-Uighur calendars. Regardless of how complex it is when it comes to managing a timekeeping system, at FingerTec, we stay ahead to help you track your time and attendance with utmost precision and efficiency.
