The use of R2c and Ingress is economical without skimming on the overall security aspects. FingerTec R2c is a slave fingerprint unit that scans one’s fingerprint to be verified by the connected controller Ingressus. All storage of fingerprint templates are kept in the Ingressus and when employee scans his or her finger, the system will compare the live fingerprint data with the stored template to determine its authenticity. When verification is done, the Ingressus will open the door for the user and an access record is sent to the software Ingress for reference. The simple mechanism of this installation makes it convenient for everybody to use the device and for the management to manage the access data. What’s more, when a company uses fingerprint biometrics, there will be no case of lost card/keys to manage because the system doesn’t require employees to carry any physical tokens to enter the premises.

The installation of FingerTec fingerprint system has been successfully carried out by AC TECH, a proud FingerTec reseller in Ivory Coast since 2012.
