Mildmay Uganda Maximizing Efficiency With R3

Mildmay Uganda (MUg), formerly Mildmay International in Uganda, is a national Non-Governmental Organization established in Uganda in 1998 as a Centre of Excellence for provision of comprehensive HIV & AIDS prevention, care, treatment and training services. Overtime, Mildmay Uganda has evolved and diversified its services specializing in delivery of comprehensive healthcare including Treatment Services; Health Systems Strengthening; Other Complementary Social Services; Health Training and Education; and Research.

Mildmay Uganda’s core programmes are concentrated in 16 districts of Central Uganda with support from PEPFAR through the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). In the new Strategic Plan (2013 - 2018), the organization is gradually expanding its program reach in other areas of Uganda. Consequently, the number of employees within the organization has increased to over 100 individuals and Mildmay Uganda soon realized that their manual time attendance system would not be suitable to manage the growth of their employees.

Through FingerTec’s reseller in Uganda, Logix Technical Solution, Mildmay Uganda settles upon R3, the latest biometrics door access and time attendance product from FingerTec, which combines modern technologies, great design and amazing functions all in one device. Not only that, with multiple methods of verification such as fingerprint, card and password, R3 provides convenience at its best to busy users. With R3, life gets more exciting and secured with keyless door access solution for your life’s convenience.

Since the installation of FingerTec’s R3, the HR department of Mildmay Uganda is very pleased with the results provided by R3 so much so that the organization ensured that five of their other remote Mildmay operation centres are also installed with FingerTec TA units; together with plans to roll it out to the rest of the site in the near future.
