Ekspo Johor Berkemajuan 2017 is a nine-day (Oct 6-14) event which was held at Dataran Mahkota Kota Iskandar, Johor Bahru. Aiming for the presence of 500,000 visitors, the event featured around 31 iconic programs throughout the expo in the forms of exhibitions, performances as well as the role of government-linked companies (GLCs). As stated by Datuk Ayub Rahmat, Johor Health, Environment, Education and Information Committee Chairman, “This expo is held to place the state on the global stage and as a regional hub for trade, industry and innovation activities. It will also showcase Johor as the most progressive state in Malaysia with good infrastructure and the most developed transportation system, besides having a fast and efficient communication network”.
