Contrary to popular belief, we haven’t been resting on our laurels nor are we bowing out and taking a hiatus from producing state-of-the-art and affordable time attendance and access control systems. A young and vibrant biometric industry is calling out to us and while some may go down the route of repackaging existing products and reintroduce them as new releases every now and then, we prefer to take our time to develop, innovate and improve our line of products. And now, we are ready to unveil our latest product of labour.

	After the success of our best-selling model the R2, it is only apt that we would work on a successor based on our most popular prototype. There are many parallels that we can be used to describe how much time we have invested to enhance the up and coming R3. If we can only use one adjective for the R3, the word better comes to mind first.

	While all the features of R3 are readily available in the R2, FingerTec R3 has a couple of new tricks up it’s sleeve. Apart from supporting up to 3,000 user templates, 100,000 logs and utilizing the latest fingerprint algorithm, VX10.0, the R3 also oozes sophistication as we have chosen to incorporate a touch-sensitive keypad for a touch of class. And that’s not all, as we have decided to brighten things up with a 2.5 inch 65k color display too for the upcoming R3.
