For small-sized companies, which have less than 20 staff, to invest in fingerprint reader for time attendance purpose could be extravagant. However, the need to keep track of staff’s attendance records is getting more and more important these days not only to ensure good discipline amongst staff but at the same time the data and information captured by the time attendance system could be used for other purposes such as payroll, staff appraisal, etc and easy storage.

FingerTec Worldwide has produced an affordable fingerprint solution utilizing the OFIS SDK to cater to the need, which known as OFIS TA. The OFIS TA (Online Fingerprint Identification System Time Attendance) is a PC-based Online Fingerprint Identification System for Time Attendance, incorporating a highly sensitive optical fingerprint scanner with TCMS V2 software for a simple yet effective time attendance system, dedicated to small-sized companies.

The OFIS TA is made to have the important functions of time attendance system but with simpler hardware installation, which requires a USB port to plug in and it can be applied to any environment that has computers present. The system does not require any installation cost or maintenance. Combinations of verifications in OFIS TA are similar to those of standalone fingerprint readers where ID, PIN and fingerprint could be used for user verification. The system offers one-to-one and one-to-many verifications and the high-end optical sensor works well with dry, moist or rough fingerprints.

Suitable for offices, residential guard houses, educational centres, government sectors & etc.

The OFIS TA allows high storage of fingerprint, transaction log, and user, depending on computer storage capability.

On top, OFIS TA can also be utilized as enrollment stations for larger companies that are using many units of FingerTec® readers in their corporations. Templates captured from OFIS TA’s scanner are transferable to all FingerTec® readers for daily operations.
