FingerTec Worldwide Ltd is an international company that deals with clients from many parts of the world. Product warranty is undoubtedly an important issue in which the company has focused on to be able to offer our clients a comprehensive warranty system that satisfies their requirements. In 2006, FingerTec Worldwide announced the launch of FingerTec Global Warranty Program to all its clients and this program does not only cover standard warranty policy but also pays attention to spare parts allocation, to easing warranty registration, spare parts claim, and etc.
 
Warranty Policy
A total of 18-month warranty period is offered to all distributors of FingerTec products against manufacturing defects of warranted parts while all end-users are offered a standard 12-month warranty period for all purchased FingerTec readers. Soon after, FingerTec Worldwide launched its warranty registration online and to promote end-users to register their warranty online at our website, FingerTec Worldwide is offering an extra 2-month to a total of 14-month warranty period once they registered for warranty online. For whose clients that register online, the distributor will get an additional 2-month to a total of 20-month for that particular readers of the client. Warranty Online
In view of our various overseas clienteles, the use of the Internet to cater to warranty issue is inevitable and FingerTec Worldwide has initiated a couple of websites to handle our warranty issues effectively. The main website www.fingertec.com offers clients to register their product warranty online and the supporting website http://warranty.fingertec.com is a site dedicated to receive warranty claims and to request quotation for spare parts. All enquiries received from these websites will be attended to promptly or within less than 24 hours, guaranteed.
 
Spare Parts Allocation Scheme

FingerTec Worldwide has taken initiatives to offer our distributors with spare parts upfront for their purchase of FingerTec units. For every 10 units, we will be providing one prism; for every 20 units, they will be given one MCU board and for every 40 units purchased of one model we will be giving them one FP matching board. The scheme has been able to reduce the repair time and the shipping cost involved in sending the defective readers back to us for repair. FingerTec Worldwide has also presented videos online on how to repair the parts accordingly. The sending back of the defective parts to us is encouraged every 3 months to reduce the shipping costs. On top, distributors are also permitted to buy spare parts up-front from us to stock, at a very reasonable cost.
