21 units of FingeTec Face ID 5 FTD were installed recently by the renowned FingerTec reseller in Perak, KBB Business Solutions Sdn Bhd, in all Yee Lee Trading's premises. The switch is necessary to manage the raging pandemic as FingerTec Face ID 5 FTD is contactless; it can detect body temperature accurately and verify identity instantly. Therefore, it is good to use the device as a two-prong machine during the pandemic as time attendance and scan everybody into the premises. The FTD variant is chosen due to its robustness to the outdoor temperature. FingerTec Face ID 5 FTD ability to push data into TimeTec TA, the cloud-based attendance system, is also the determining factor in the decision. Yee Lee has been using TimeTec TA for a few years to manage time attendance on the cloud.
FingerTec Face ID 5 FTD can store up to 6000 face templates, 3000 palms and 200,000 transaction logs sufficient storage to keep up with a company like Yee Lee Trading.
