Exportech Portugal Sole Distributes
FingerTec in Cape Verde

Exportech, FingerTec Worldwide’s exclusive distributor for Portugal has added yet another country to its agreement. Exportech secures sole distributorship to supply and support all FingerTec product range to Cape Verde, a group of islands in the North Atlantic Ocean, Western Africa.

The deal was made with 6 major resellers covering the entire islands. The resellers include Fonseca & Santos, Inforsal and Reprotec e ITEC. So far, they have managed to secure important clientele for FingerTec such as Transportes Aereos de Cabo Verde - the renowned Cape Verde Airlines, MindelHotel - the best hotel in S. Vicente Island, Instituto Nacional de Estatística – Statistic National Institute,a Sodigas – Major Gas Company and several City Halls in Boavista Island and Sal Island. Installations of FingerTec readers were done as well at other hotels, offices and industrial companies.

Exportech’s Managing Director, Mr Paulo Ferrera was confident that FingerTec has great potential in this group of Islands. “Looking at the development, I have no doubt that FingerTec will emerge as the leading brand in fingerprint system in Cape Verde,” he said. “We have identified the key factors for success and each party involve has to play its part effectively to achieve the goal,” he added. Amongst the key factors are for the local resellers to offer the Next Business Day Onsite Assistance and for Exportech to cover Online Technical Services directly from Portugal. “With support readily available, we are confident to keep our customer at ease,” he explained. Mr Paulo also mentioned Software Integration with ERP as one of the key factors for success.

Last year, Exportech in collaboration with its resellers staged a show in Unique Technology Fair in the capital Praia Island.
