Euro Jordan’s Focus on FingerTec® Online Fingerprint Identification System Pays

Euro Jordan Trading Company, FingerTec distributor in Jordan, was established in 1999, starting with automatic door systems. Since its inception, the company has strived to be popular in the field of automatic doors and door access systems in Jordan. Their commitment to meeting their customer requirements have made them successful in the field. Due to the market demand for replacement of the manual time attendance and door access systems, Euro Jordan started to offer its customers fingerprint biometric solutions for time attendance and door access system. 2006, supplying Euro Jordan with fingerprint system for door access and time attendance system as well as online identification system.

FingerTec Worldwide had the pleasure to interview Mr Jawad Yaqoub, the company’s Sales & Technical Manager for FingerTec products in Jordan.


	How many resellers you have in Jordan right now? From which industry are they?
	We have around 10 resellers in Jordan; they are from software companies that provide HR and Payroll systems, accounting systems and other software, security companies, and companies that provide maintenance solutions in computer hardware and networking, office equipment companies.

	How do you do reseller selection?
	Our resellers are well known companies that have their own customer database; sometimes we can't reach a customer unless our reseller contacted him because that company deals only with our reseller in purchasing new systems.

	What made you choose FingerTec® amongst other brands in the market?
	FingerTec® is an integrated hardware and software product while some other products require purchase of license separately. Its multiple connectors and competitive pricing also are nice additions. We also appreciate its product design and marketing materials.

Which products are bestsellers in Jordan and do you foresee the change in trend?

All door access and time attendance systems that FingerTec provides are bestsellers in Jordan. FRIS, FRIS II and OFIS are very good solutions, we think that these solutions especially the OFIS needs a period of time to be more popular in applications in Jordan.

What were the marketing activities that Euro Jordan have done for FingerTec and which one yielded the best results in terms of enquiries and sales?

Email shots, word of mouth and our connections yielded the results in enquires and sales, and the best one is the email shots.

Euro Jordan has done numerous installations of FingerTec; tell me the prominent clients so far you have in Jordan?

We have customers in different fields such as airlines, transportation companies, hotels, banks, and public security. Our famous clients are Jordan University, Public Security, DHL, USAID and JETT Group.

From your experience, what do you think is required from your market for door access and time attendance products?

AC900 is a great product for door access and time attendance system, some customers ask for other advanced features so we offer them R2 and the plus series. We give the customer the product that fits their needs with the best price

FingerTec® AC900

First of all service and perfect support that ease any difficulties that may appear, also the different types of products and the development that FingerTec is doing to the systems and the products.

What are the major obstacles for you in selling biometrics in the your region?

We don’t have any obstacles in selling the products, but we need multi users to administrate the software with different privileges.

What is your future plan for FingerTec?

We want to strengthen our resellers, increase our sales and reinforce our technical team.
