Emirates Egypt Prefers FingerTec System
Emirates brand needs no introduction. They are largest airline in the Middle East, operating more than 3,000 flights weekly to more than 140 major cities in 70 countries in the world. It is no wonder that they have physical offices in various places including some in Africa’s northeast country, Egypt.

In 2013, FingerTec through its reseller GTT co under Apex technology of Egypt introduced FingerTec’s Kadex system to Emirates’ head office located in Giza for their door access and time attendance system requirements. Consequently, Emirates installed Kadex and i-Kadex pairing in their head office and a few booking offices in major cities, controlling access to the offices.

At the end of 2015, they decided to switch to biometrics system to improve the system’s effectiveness and they requested GTT Co to install FingerTec R2 biometrics in the head office and some booking offices’ branches. On top of the door access system, Emirates also has been using FingerTec AC100C time attendance system to handle their staff attendance in the booking offices in Meridian Hotel, Cargo, Alexandria and other branches nationwide.

All FingerTec terminals come complimentary with its powerful management software TCMS V2, designed to collect data from all terminals, centralize and manages users in the terminals, and present the users with useful data/reports for further analysis or integration with third party solutions. The move from the card system to token less system is completed by GTT Co, Apex Technology’s esteemed reseller in the land of the pyramids.
