Digital Furniture Uses TimeLine 100 for Effective HR Management

Flexi Team Computer Sdn Bhd, is FingerTec’s main distributor in Malacca, Malaysia. In September 2010 they closed a deal with Digital Furniture Sdn Bhd (Digital Furniture) by introducing FingerTec TimeLine 100 a time attendance RFID card system for a better and effective workforce management. Digital Furniture is a rubber wood furniture exporter that specializes in exporting products ranging from, bedroom and dinning sets, furniture components, rubber wood laminated boards and etc.

The furniture business has been sustaining its HR proceedings with the old-fashioned manual time cards and lengthy calculations. Along the years as the business started expanding the workforce naturally grew in response. Manual time cards and calculations to maintain employees started falling out of hands. More administrators and HR staffs were required to catch up with the expansion; simultaneously on the other hand the business was also recruiting skilled and experienced labour to expedite the growth. Realising that they could save up a mounting amount on the HR and admin staff head counts and focus more on skilled labour recruitment, Digital Furniture was more than convinced to deploy with TimeLine 100.

The implementation acted well to manage over 500 employees, easing shift management, significantly reducing late arrivals and other forms of loopholes to regularize employees’ daily attendance.

HR affairs were simplified in a tremendous manner with neat clock-in, clock-out records that are accurate and reliable. A lot of the previous issues and hurdles were curtailed and the management team now manages smoothly despite having to deal with workers of all levels and categories with multiple shifts and work location sites.

Along with TimeLine 100, Digital Furniture is also using TCMS V2. TCMS V2 centralizes, stores and manages all time attendance information extracted from the TimeLine 100 terminals to create a smoothly managed and networked attendance solution. This simplifies human resources task and directly trims down labour costs.
