Quite recently, Universitas Atma Jaya unveiled its third and newest campus in Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD) City, South Tangerang. The BSD campus is being built on 20 hectares of land, which is a significant upgrade from the 4.2 ha of Unika Atma Jaya's Pluit campus in North Jakarta and the 3.6 ha of its Semanggi campus in South Jakarta. With such an expansion taking place, the university establishes that an extra layer of security is much needed in maintaining the institution compounds since its latest BSD campus does not have any security system in placed to monitor the access of both its students and the staffs.
