(By Mr Omar M. Zarrugh, Commercial Manager, Al-Afaq Co.)

On behalf of Al-Afaq’s Company staff I would like to take this opportunity to introduce our company and our story of success with FingerTec and its products. Our company, Al-Afaq, dealing with electrical and electronic services, is one of the leading companies in the field of security and information technology in Libya. Our services include designing & consultations, installations and maintenance.

Since the start of the Company around year 2000 to year 2001, we used to work as installers & integrators. In time we gained our experience in the market and learned the requirements of installers and end-users. These days we focus more on reselling and distributing, where we select high quality products and well-known brand names that satisfy the installer’s and end user’s needs.

One of the companies that we are proud to work with is the FingerTec Company, as a specialist in finger print access control and time and attendance devices. We began our business with them in the year 2008 after attending the Intersec exhibition in Dubai City, where we met a Sales & Marketing personnel, Mr. Benacer, who discussed the business opportunities between our companies and how we can start our business cooperation steps.

As we have had unsuccessful experiences with our previous finger print technology suppliers, our first step was to conduct some tests on the FingerTec products at our own workshop. We were rather impressed after conducting the testing as the results revealed the product’s high quality, fast response, ease of use, good stability and reliability, not only in the hardware but also in the software. Since then we’ve sold and installed many FingerTec products, and in turn, we are securing more and more satisfied clients, more so after replacing some of the fingerprint devices of other suppliers with FingerTec products.

All these encounters encouraged us to develop our services by providing a better quality of support, including technical and marketing support, to the local installers, which will in turn be reflected by the end-users’ satisfaction. One more point that I couldn’t miss out in this article is that working with the FingerTec team feels like working with friends that we have known for a long time. Finally I would like to thank the FingerTec Company for their valuable support and their excellent quality of products, and I wish that our business relationship with them will last a long time more to come.

My special thanks to Mr. Benacer.
