Sutera Harbour Resort is looking to improve the attendance rate of their staff and have turned to FingerTec reseller, AMTC System, for a solution. Previously, the resort had been using an electronic time recorder and have dabbled with other biometric devices as well. They wanted a time attendance device where the captured raw data from the device can be exported to a third-party software for payroll and HR integration. AMTC suggested the deployment of FingerTec Face ID 2, the face recognition biometric terminal that is fast, easy and contactless. At the same time, many other five-star hotels throughout Kota Kinabalu have implemented FingerTec terminals and Sutera Harbour Resort would become the latest hotel and resort to join them. The resort installed a series of Face ID 2 terminals at several locations, including both The Pacific Sutera Hotel and The Magellan Sutera Resort, the maintenance unit of both the aforementioned golf club and marina, the Sutera Sanctuary Lodges’ headquarters and finally, the resort’s HR department. Overall, the staff of Sutera Harbour Resort commended the Face ID 2 terminal’s performance, particularly due to its multi-verification feature where employees can record their attendance via face recognition, fingerprint, card and password verification methods.
