| Our TCMS V2 can perform various functions such as managing your FingerTec terminal, enrolling new users, setting security options and so on. When it comes to user management, our TCMS V2 allows you to import as well as export user information, so that you are able to integrate FingerTec solutions with your existing 3rd party system, if you have any. This article, will guide you on how to import user information from other file formats. Before importing user data into your TCMS V2, take note that: |

Existing records in your TCMS V2 will be overwritten by this import function. |
| b) |
For the .xls format, the file must be ‘Microsoft Excel 5.0/95 Workbook (*.xls) |

| To import the user data: |
| 1. |
Click Users |
| 2. |
Click Import User at the bottom of the page |
| 3. |
| Before selecting the file to import, please make sure that you have already arranged the data format as the sample as below |

| You can check the sample by clicking the “View Sample” button |
 |
| *Note: In the latest TCMSv2 version, you are also able to import the username and card ID. |

Please click at the Excel or ASCII button to export the file (Excel = MS-Excel spreadsheet and ASCII = text format file). After importing the data, please check that the data appears in the correct column. Scroll right to view the rest of the data. |

Click Apply to save the import data |
| 6. |
Click Apply again. |
| 7. |
| The username and card ID that you import will now appear when u click Devices > User Management. |
