Determining clocking in and out time is the basic function of any workforce management system, keeping track of the staff’s attendance and in-out transactions of the company. TimeTec takes things up a notch with a function designed to identify the purpose of each transaction and define job perimeters and activities of each staff member.
The Work Code function uses codes and remarks to describe attendance discrepancies and abnormalities. These remarks can be used to identify the causes and reasons for tardiness, breaks, off-site jobs, and leaves. 9 to 5 maybe the most common working schedule out there, but even companies that mainly adhere to that rule can have employees that require off-site presence such as those in sales and technical department that have to meet up with clients or business associates during the normal working hours. Such cases would necessitate the ability to specify and determine the purpose of the in-out transactions from the office. With the Work Code function employers can monitor the performances of each staff member depending on their tasks as well as determine their whereabouts at specific timeframes.
