Validation of a MAC address after activation of a terminal using the product key and activation code would establish a connection between the terminal and the TCMS V2 software. Recently, FingerTec has upgraded its MAC address to a better version and the MAC address has been loaded into the latest batches of FingerTec products. With this new MAC address, you are required to update your TCMS V2 version to the latest version (v2.2.015 onwards) when you want to establish the connection. Failure to do so will cause an error in connection between the terminal and the software.
