| There are 2 USB ports available at the back of the TA300. The one on the right is for power and data transfer and the one on the left is to connect to a thermal receipt printer.
How does a receipt printer work and why would you require it? The thermal receipt printer would print a receipt indicating user ID, date and time that a user clocks into the TA300. By having this receipt, the burden of proof is shifted from employer to employee. Every employee must keep the receipts of their attendance as proofs of their attendance, and if there’s any dispute or challenge from the management, the employee can use the receipt as proof.
