Understanding Work Code Function in
FingerTec® Plus Series
 
FingerTec® standard fingerprint readers offer default of four defined punch in and punch out activities which include Check in (00), Check out (01), OT in (04) and OT out (05). While other remarks can be manually defined in TCMS V2 on a particular attendance of users, the definitions can only be inserted after fingerprint verifications have been done and recorded in attendance sheet. The 3 steps below explain remark definition function in TCMS V2.
 
 

However, demand for job definitions in the FingerTec® hardware has been increasing due to strict requirements of employees to know detailed activities of their staff. To cater to this function,  FingerTec® readers that are offering work code function in AC100 Plus, AC800 Plus and AC800 Plus MC.

The settings of the work code function are done via TCMS V2 as explained below:
 
 

There are a total of 99 work codes available, which could be defined in TCMS V2 for Plus series. After the work codes have been defined, users need to press the work code after the placing their fingerprint on the sensor for verification.

The work code will be shown automatically when previewing a Terminal Audit List and it will also be present in Attendance Sheet under the remark column.
