How Do Mifare Cards Work?
Mifare cards hold information of a user’s fingerprint information, which means that when the user verifies, he/she would need to flash the card as well as verify an enrolled fingerprint. The Mifare enabled FingerTec reader will read the card and compare the fingerprint information to the one contained in the card. With Mifare cards, the fingerprint template is no longer stored in the biometric device, but on each individual Mifare card, thus enabling more fingerprint-enrolled users.

How Does the Mifare Card Writer Fit into a Mifare System?
The Mifare Card Writer is really both an accessory or main product - depending on how you use it. It can be an accessory to the system by acting as an enrolling station, facilitating the registration of fingerprints into the card, or it can also act as a main verification system for online verification during a PC login and so on.

The Mifare Card Writer is also suitable to be integrated in a variety of solutions involving Mifard card terminals such as a complete hotel locking system. To get more information of the Mifare Card Writer head over to our product page or contact info@fingertec.com to place your orders!
