The purpose of this is to improve the security of access control by adding another biometric verification of the users. The new firmware improves the speed of face recognition too. So hurry and keep your Face ID 2 up to date and secure with our latest update!
 
To install the firmware update for the Face ID 2, kindly perform the following steps:
1. Download the firmware (contact support@fingertec.com for latest firmware)
2. Connect your Face ID 2 to PC/LAN with a valid IP address to connect to.
3. Unzip the FaceID2.zip to get a new folder Face ID 2.
4. Double click "FTFaceIDUpdate.exe" to run the firmware update tool.
5. Follow the on screen instructions until it displays "Update Success".
6. Restart the Face ID 2.
