The FingerTec® Door Open-Close Configuration Tool
( by Henry Pang, Product Development Manager )

Understanding the tool
This tool works with all FingerTec® models that have access control feature. You can use this tool to configure the FingerTec® models:

A. To open door during predefined time period.
The security of the door will be disabled during the specified time period and users do not need to verify their fingerprints or passwords at the terminal to gain access. This setting is suitable for an environment, where public access is allowed during a certain time period. When the period is over, door lock system will be re-activated which requires authorised users to verify for access.
B. To close the door during predefined time period.
During a predefined time zone, all authorised users are blocked from opening the door regardless of their authority. This setting is suitable for highly secured environment i.e. data room, inventory room etc.
