The new features in TA100 DIY
1. Rest day definition in clocking schedule. In the previous version of TA100 DIY firmware, configuration of working time has to be done in each clocking schedule. You cannot define “Work Day” or “Rest Day” in the clocking schedules. Therefore, if it is a rest day, “Absent” is recorded in report though it should be “Rest Day”.

In the new version, you can define rest day in the clocking schedules and the report will reflect “Rest Day” instead of “Work Day”.

Press Menu > Settings > Work Day Settings > Select “Y” to select “Work day” or select “N” to indicate “Rest Day”.

For example

Day
Type of Day
Working Day?
Sunday
Rest Day
N
Monday
Work Day
Y
Tuesday
Work Day
Y
Wednesday
Work Day
Y
Thursday
Work Day

Friday

Saturday

2. Enhanced Report - Electronic Time Card

1. The report has been improved to present a simple table, instead of boxes in the previous version for better viewing.

2. As “Rest Day” can be defined in the settings, all the rest days are tagged with “Rest Day”, instead of “Absent”.

3. The report will display “NoIn”, if a user misses to verify during clock in and “NoOut”, if a user misses to verify during clock out.

4. At the bottom of the report, it displays the important attendance information as explained in the table below:

Information Explanation

Total Working Days Total working days during the reporting time period.

Total Lates Accumulated late time during the reporting time period.

3. Enhanced Report - Daily Attendance Listing

4. Enhanced Report - Staff Movement Analysis

1. A number in bracket is attached to every clocking time to indicate clocking status of users during that particular time. For example, please refer to user ID 1899 Allen’s movement analysis. He checked in at 08:36(0). Zero indicates check in. He took a break at 12:40 and resumed work at 1320 and checked out at 18:32. Four is to indicate a break, 5 is to resume working and 1 is a check out.

2. All numbers and their status are tagged at the bottom of the report for easy reference.

5. Details working schedules

With updated firmware to TA100DIY, you can configure working time slots for everyday. You can configure In, Break, Resume, Out, OT and Done for all 7 days in a week. This is very useful if the company applies different working time among a week. Example as below

12:30
13:30

Friday Workday

Saturday Restday

6. Enhanced time attendance calculation

With updated firmware to TA100 DIY, break time can be deducted from total working hours. Users report attendance to Break-Resume and Out-OT are consider going for a break or meal. The system will deduct the time period from total working hours as you defined in these columns.

Example,
Break time = 12:30 and Resume time = 13:30.
Lunch time = Resume – Break = 13:30 – 12:30 = 1 hour.
Therefore system consider 1 hour as lunch time.
System will deduct 1 hour automatically from total working hours. The same apply to Out and OT columns.

However if user leaving early for lunch or coming back late from lunch, system will deduct the extra time from total working hours.

Example,
As configure, Break time = 12:30 and Resume time = 13:30.
User is leaving at 12:15 and coming back on 13:45.
Lunch time = Resume – Break = 13:45 – 12:15 = 1 hour 30min
Therefore system will cut 1 hour 30min from total working time. The same apply to Out and OT columns.
Furthermore, these time slots are displaying in red color in the report. Check sample below.

7. Auto Status – Automatic Shift into Clocking Status

In previous version, users must press the key button to define their clocking status, example Check-In, Break, Resume etc. Sometimes users might miss to press and report wrongly. With the new firmware updated, you can configure the TA100DIY to shift into corresponding clocking status automatically. Example, terminal shifts clocking status during 12:00 to become Break, and shift to Resume during 13:15.

Step 6 – Press OK to confirm to start to use
Step 7 – Insert the time to shift clocking status to Check In, example 08:50. Press OK
Step 8 – Press ESC once to end
Step 9 – Press OK to save settings

For each clocking status, you can configure maximum 4 different time slots. This is apply to company with multiple working shifts per day, example Morning shift starts work at 09:00, while the Evening shift starts work at 19:00. Therefore you can configure 2 time slots for Auto Status – Check In as below,

No 1 – 08:50
No 2 – 19:00

The same apply to each clocking status.

Even though the TA100DIY can shift into corresponding clocking status according to settings, you still can press the key button to define your clocking status manually.
