Improving the Slow Response
Problem of Attendance Sheet
 
In some cases where attendance data in Attendance Sheet is accumulated to a certain extend, the response time of the Attendance Sheet becomes slower. Administrators would feel the lagging in response whenever they try to open the Attendance Sheet, or edit data in the Sheet.

To speed up the respond time, administrators are recommended to perform housekeeping by sending old attendance data to history files. They also must not forget to clear .CLK files in the system.

Follow the steps below to resolve slow response problem:
Step 1
Open TCMS V2 folder from your computer and look for CONFIG.INI. Double click to open the file.
 
Step 2
Look for the line “KeepClkHistory” and change its value to “0”.
 
Save the changes with the same file name.
Close the TCMS V2 folder and start TCMS V2 software.
 
Step 3
Click History button. A new window will pop up.
 
Step 4
In the new window, select all users and define date range to send old attendance data to history.
Example 01/01/2008 ~ 31/12/2008.

Click “To History” to send.
Wait for TCMS V2 to rebuild all indexes. Open the Attendance Sheet and the response will no longer slow.
