FingerTec M2/R2 Rechargeable Battery
 
The FingerTec M2/R2 series are using rechargeable battery, which is different from the CMOS battery that has been used in other FingerTec models previously.

Please take note that if there is any user complaint about the inaccuracy of time / date of the M2/R2 reader upon receipt, this might be caused by the low rechargeable battery. In this case, please advise the user to :
 
1. Adjust the date / time to the current date
2. Power on the reader for about 4 days to fully recharge the battery.
