| During the 1870's, Dr. Henry Faulds, the British Surgeon-Superintendent of Tsukiji Hospital in Tokyo, Japan, took up the study of "skin-furrows" after noticing finger marks on specimens of a prehistoric pottery. Dr. Faulds not only recognized the importance of fingerprints as a means of identification, but devised a method of classification as well. |

FingerTec Worldwide had participated in the recent Intersec Middle East 2008 show held at Dubai Convention Center from 13-15 January 2008 under Commercial Security section. The show was interrupted in the first day when many visitors and exhibitors were trapped from coming to the exhibition hall, caused by massive roadblocks around Dubai due to President Bush’s visit. The second day was declared a holiday due to the same reason. The third day, heavy downpour resulted in lack of visitors in the hall. |
