Identify the computer that will be used to install TCMS V2 and its distance from the reader(s). This is important to know the length of the cable and the extra accessories required, if any. For TCP/IP for example, the cable can go up to 30 meter and a network switch is required for a distance more than 30 meter. For RS485, the cable can go up to 1km and data converter is required.
