From 22 August to 6 September 2017, the Private Sector Federation (PSF) in partnership with the Ministry of Trade, Industry and East African Community Affairs (MINEACOM) organized the 20th Rwanda International Trade Fair (RITF 2017). As usual, the event was held at Gikondo Expo Grounds, in the capital of Kigali and is a multi-sectoral trade event that attracts local, regional and international exhibitors to sell/buy as well as being a platform for marketing and linking of local traders to their international counterparts for exchanging business ideas.
This year, RITF attracted approximately 15,000 people on weekdays plus 35,000 people on weekends as well as consisting up to 433 exhibitors from 19 different countries around the globe. Given the expectations of the market and consumers at large, DY-Solutions decided to to showcase FingerTec bestsellers such as TA500, H2i, R2 and other solutions to visitors.
Biometrics solution is not novel in Rwanda as DY-Solutions have been bringing the technology to the country for close to 8 years to date. Nevertheless, the new cloud solution such as TimeTec TA gives another dimension to the advanced solutions for the local market and the neighbouring countries. With the huge influx of crowd to RITF 2017, it was an amazing opportunity for DY-Solutions to reach bigger market for FingerTec.
