| A total of 16 units FingerTec readers were deployed in the building comprising of 75% R2 and 25% AC100. FingerTec’s R2 has been the worldwide bestselling model for door access for many years due to its design, sturdiness and amazing functions. R2 is designed to offer not only biometrics feature; it also comes with card technology, password and PIN verifications for users’ convenience. R2 can be installed standalone, connected to slave reader such as R2c to biometric-ized the entire security system. In this particular installation, door access and time attendance systems are separated to streamline the data to relevant departments that are in charge of security and human resources respectively.
With this installation in place, the management gets a complete view on all door access activities happening in the premise 24/7. All audit trails are not available with the records of who’s in and who’s out at specific times. AC100s are stationed to record attendance of their staff for time attendance for payroll and admin purposes. |
