A Leading Private Television Network Company Scores High Ratings with FingerTec

A leading private television network company in Malaysia is known for offering the best in-house programming and quality content for a wide range of viewers, thus solidifying their position as the country's favorite TV station. Their content consist of local and international programs covering a wide range of genres, from blockbuster movies to international sporting events to local dramas and magazine shows, most of which have consistently maintained high ratings. The company was recently looking to implement an effective time attendance solution and having heard about FingerTec and its range of time attendance products, the engineering department of this company had requested FingerTec reseller, Bumi Engineering, to conduct a product presentation to have a better understanding of the benefits of using a FingerTec device.

Previously, the company had been using a biometric HID terminal which also comes with fingerprint verification. However, the terminal they had been using could not generate detailed reports and could not be integrated with other software due to a database issue. The company had planned on deploying FingerTec terminals at their headquarters and their branch offices. As managing the time attendance of their 300 plus employees was their main focus, Bumi Engineering suggested the deployment of FingerTec TA100C along with the T-Box featuring a pre-configured TimeTec Web. A second presentation was conducted in the managerial department, impressing the department and also agreeing to the deployment of FingerTec terminals within the engineering department. The company was satisfied and impressed with the TimeTec cloud functionality and revealed that this is a pilot project, starting with their engineering department. If the system does well, they plan on deploying to other departments too. They also found TA100C to be stable and reliable.
