FingerTec Brings Biometric Solutions to
Mips Russia

From 14-17 April 2014, FingerTec flew to Moscow to stage an exhibition at Mips 2014. This year was the 20th year of Mips exhibition and this show is deemed the country’s most effective international exhibition for security, safety and fire safety industry. Mips indeed is the largest industry event in Eastern Europe and Russia. The event took place at All-Russian Exhibition Center (VVC), Pavilion No. 75 and FingerTec was at Booth No. B405.

Majority of the visitors were from the Human Resources department from various industries who were looking to implement biometrics access control system in their company. Based on the information gathered, they were looking to automate office's access control system to reduce human’s complications such as treacherousness and human errors.

FingerTec showcased the brand’s bestsellers R2R2c, TA100C and Kadex. At the same time Face ID 4d was highlighted as the latest technology in biometrics. The model received great attention because of the non-intrusiveness of the machine and the sophistication it carries.

Speedy registration and verification of the Face ID series surprised our visitors who had got to experience the terminals first hand.

Fingerprint technology also had garnered interests from visitors who were pleasantly surprised by the performance of FingerTec’s machines such as R2.

MIPS 2014 gathered potential leads from the neighbouring countries like Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Estonia and Belarus.

FingerTec has always making sure that our resources are translated accordingly to serve appropriate market.

We also took the opportunity to have a meeting with our esteemed partner in Moscow, JSC Rossi and we had the chance to meet its key people during our visit to Russia this time around.

All in all, Mips 2014 has brought us renewed optimism about marketing FingerTec in Russia and Eastern Europe.
