Raising Fund for A Nobel Cause
Chinese independent high school is a type of private high school in Malaysia. The schools are using Chinese Mandarin language as its main language medium as the continuation from the primary education received in Chinese national type primary schools. In total, there are only 60 Chinese independent high schools, 38% of the schools are from East Malaysia.

Being private schools, Chinese independent high schools do not receive funding from the Malaysian government. However, in accordance with the aim of providing affordable education to all in Chinese language, the school fees are substantially reduced than those of most other private schools. The schools are kept alive almost exclusively by donations from the public.

With the objective of raising some fund for the school, The Association of The Parents and Teachers of Confucian Private Secondary School in Lorong Hang Jebat, Kuala Lumpur will be organizing a 2014 Carnival on 24/5/2014 (Saturday) from 8am - 3pm at the school itself. They hope to raise at least RM350,000 from the event to fund some of the activities being planned out for the overall development of the institution.
