| Ahmad Idham, Kedah born-and-bred director and celebrated industry veteran of local smash hit Jangan Pandang Belakang (2007) has long dreamt about transforming the Malaysian film industry to be on par with the success and achievements of renowned international motion picture industries like Hollywood or even Bollywood. Hoping to fill the dearth in vocational and practical training for creative filmmaking and saddened by what “inconsistent progress of the film industry”, the Ahmad Idham Filming Academy (AIFA) opened its doors in May 2014 to welcome aspiring filmmakers all hunkering for a slice of Hollywood fame into its fold. |

| Looking up to the prestigious New York Film Academy who set the benchmark for top quality education in filmmaking, AIFA had some really big shoes to fill. Located at Nusajaya, Johor, the academy offers an intensive hands-on training by industry experts in the creative aspects of filmmaking in hopes of rejuvenating interest and enthusiasm for the art of filmmaking. With so many students rushing to sign up for their courses, it wasn’t long before AIFA realised that they would require lots of help to manage their growing student base. Not only that, Lynx Tech thoughtfully prepared a training program that was done in stages to provide adequate Ingress software training to familiarize AIFA staff with the system. Once completed, the combined security and time attendance measures from FingerTec TA100C, R2 and Ingressus IV provided AIFA with a comprehensive plan that not only safeguards both the academy and the student hostel from break-ins and burglary, in which all devices utilize the latest BioBridge VX 10.0 algorithm to provide quick and accurate fingerprint verification that ensures only enrolled students are granted access. The staff particularly loved how the sleek design of the devices belie an advanced, easy to use, and IT-friendly software that provides elaborate access control features such as real-time monitoring, database administration and report management, all within in a single unified system that also can be used to centralize multiple terminals for multiple door monitoring capabilities. |
