SAJ Ranhill Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Ranhill Holdings Berhad is an integrated water supply company, involved in the process of water treatment and distribution of treated water to consumers right up to billing and collection. SAJ Ranhill has 13 branches statewide located in 5 major districts and in their effort to centralize the management of its employees across Johor to its headquarters in Larkin, the management deployed FingerTec biometrics and card solutions in all its subdivisions.

The installations to all SAJ’s branches were carried out by FingerTec reseller Memis Engineering in Johor Bahru earlier this year. SAJ prefers FingerTec brand because FingerTec is a trusted brand that provides excellent after sales service and warranty. A combination of FingerTec R2 and m-Kadex were chosen and all SAJ’s staff are required to clock attendance using fingerprint for data accuracy, and the card system is used for door access.

All FingerTec hardware comes with its comprehensive complementary software and SAJ is using Ingress MYSQL for its data centre in the headquarters in Larkin. Now SAJ can monitor the staff’s attendance smoothly through Ingress and they can manage the staff better with accurate data.
