Bank of Africa – Ghana (BOA Ghana) is a large commercial bank providing financial services such as retail, SME and corporate banking within the West African region and is licensed by Bank of Ghana, the central bank of the country. With 20 branches already in operation, BOA Ghana intends to further solidify their access control system after successfully implementing a FingerTec solution at their head office. With the completion of their new branch in Accra, the bank proceeded to contact authorized FingerTec distributor, Telecomputer Network Systems, for their access control needs. |

After consulting with Telecomputer, it was decided that 7 units of the R2 device were to be implemented in the newly constructed office building. Dubbed as FingerTec’s bestselling terminal for access control, the device also comes with the powerful TCMS V2 software for easy data management and presentable reporting. This has made it easier for BOA Ghana’s upper management to monitor & control their employees as well as increase the security of some of their rooms. |

Telecomputer Network Systems has been an active part of the FingerTec family for quite some time, and does not look to slow down in the near future. Having also completed other installation projects such as Ghana’s National Identification Authority and Ghana Airports Company Limited before this, the company is comfortably spreading the FingerTec name in the African region through its business with these large corporations. Hopefully the implementation of FingerTec in BOA Ghana’s head office and Accra branch will be the start of a larger and more comprehensive coverage in the future. |
