The company has recently adopted and implemented FingerTec fingerprint time and attendance solution. Workers and employees are required to scan their fingerprint for daily attendance. There have approximately 1,500 workers, of which 20% are SMOE workers and employees, and the rest being sub-contractor workers, and monitoring attendance for payroll purposes was becoming too tedious for them to keep up with prior to this. Following this, they sought our company’s services, SmartSys Solutions Pvt. Ltd. to propose a system that allows them to eliminate the amount of workload that was currently being carried out.
As a result, a total of 18 units of FingerTec TA100C were deployed in the three locations within the company premises, namely, the entrance of the two guard houses, as well as the building lobby. The system was also integrated with the time attendance management software, the TCMS V2 to centralize all the 18 units of devices, and the system went live in mid-May for the company to use. This project was initiated by SMOE Singapore and it achieves the goal of providing a high availability and low maintenance of a fingerprint time and attendance platform in the long run.
