In June 2010, FingerTec is proud to introduce another version of Kadex series known as m-Kadex. m-Kadex is a simple card system reader for time attendance and access control, designed without any keypads and LCD on the surface. The main function of m-kadex is to read card for attendance or access control. With m-Kadex, the management of the terminals has to be carried out from the TCMS V2 software.
m-Kadex can only perform enrolment and deletion of new cards at the terminal itself provided that an administrator card is available. Absence of the administrator card would not allow any operations to be carried out at the terminal.

Ghana has recently opened its data centre head office known as National Identification Authority for registration of citizens, non-citizens and residents data and printing of all their national ID cards in the capital Accra. Security of this place is put as priority and the contract has been awarded for installation of CCTV, turnstiles and door access systems for a total of 29 doors to Telecomputer Network Systems, FingerTec distributor in Ghana.

Volcanic ash cloud left and returned to Europe early this month but the effects were not felt in IFSEC 2010. The exhibition staged over four days in the NEC Birmingham ended on Thursday, May 13th and my feet couldn’t be happier. Remind me not to wear a 3-inch heels the next time I stage a solo 4-day show.

Novelty of face recognition technology had attracted more than 30 attendees from around the state to the one-day event held at Tang Dynasty Hotel.

From 13 to 16th of May 2010, World Connection, FingerTec distributor in Qatar participated in an inaugural show of ITech2010 in Doha, capital of Qatar. The ITech2010, organized by Qatar Expo featured technology distributors and manufacturers from over 17 countries offering a full range of customer electronics, home entertainment and business ICT technology in the “ITech Sales Zone” in over 2500sqm of space and another 500sqm of space was dedicated to “ITech Display Zone” for exhibitors.
