IFSEC International is one of the biggest security-based event in the UK, bringing together suppliers, distributors, consultants, installers and end users in security supplies from 100 countries in one place. Gaining recognition as an event with more than 40 years of history, it sees 500 returning exhibitors in addition to the new 93 businesses that have recently signed up for the exhibition. Held at ExCeL London from 17-19 June 2014 , IFSEC has previously attracted more than 24,000 visitors consisting of major conglomerates and market players from various industries such as manufacturing, law, architectural, governmental and more.

In the previous year, FingerTec has attended IFSEC International 2009 in Birmingham to showcase our products in time attendance and access control and this time around, we came with a renewed hope to replicate the success that we have attained in the past. The shift from Birmingham to London is definitely a great welcome as an endless stream of visitors have come and go throughout the 3 day event. Out of the many products that we have brought, it is noted that the Face ID 3 is the one that was frequently inquired about.

Visitors are drawn to our facial recognition access control devices as the slim and stylish design appeals to them. Apart from it’s aesthetically-pleasing qualities, the Face ID 3’s contactless identification and accurate verification has also convinced visitors to contemplate on making a switch from their existing access control solutions. Besides our access control devices, there were also a number of people who wish to know what our time attendance system can offer.

TimeTec Cloud’s cloud-based feature has piqued the interest of many when we have highlighted to them that it is designed to help organizations reduce their administrative overhead costs by eliminating the time spent on manual timecard calculations, decrease overall labour costs and to shrink the gap between payroll policy and actual practice.

We have also met with potential resellers and distributors from Romania, Turkey and Russia who have shown great interest in our selection of access control and time attendance products, stating that the affordability and user-friendliness factor is an excellent reason for them to market our products.

As a whole, participating in IFSEC 2014 was a good move for our objective, as we received many inquirers and potential client’s contact, summing up our success in this year’s exhibition.
