A Successful Showcase Malaysia and Malaysia Services Exhibition 2014 For FingerTec

Showcase Malaysia and Malaysia Services Exhibition has been a yearly fixture at the Diamond Island Convention & Exhibition Centre in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. From June 10 to June 12 2014, the exhibition is frequented by attendees consisting individuals and conglomerates from the field of construction and related services, building materials, education, franchise, business services, electrical and electronics, fast-moving consumer goods, health care products and industrial products. The event is organised by Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) as an initiative to strengthen the bilateral ties between Malaysia and Cambodia and aims to gather Malaysian exhibitors to meet with Cambodian importers, agents, distributors and partners.
We are all set up and ready to go!

FingerTec is one of the organizations selected to participate in the 3 day event and we appreciate the chance that we have been given to highlight our capabilities and expertise as a provider of biometric products and security solutions. There were about 62 companies that participated in total. The biometric technology is fairly new to the market and we foresee it can expand to generate sales in the future as we are one of the first brand to introduce biometrics technology there.

With our esteemed partners IONS Sdn Bhd
In early 2014, a local Malaysian company called IONS Sdn Bhd has opened a branch in Cambodia. They foresee the opportunity to be one of the first to introduce fingerprint verification system for the Cambodian market. In recent years Cambodia have witnessed the steady growth of the construction industry and we had several visitors from development companies coming to inquire of our products as they would like to include access control models to their buildings. Their inquiries revolve around the usage of our locks on hotel building, luxury villas and factories.

For the villa's we have recommended the use of Keylock models for their convenience and factories we have suggested the robust R2 &R2C units for their staff's attendance but they also mentioned that verifying fingerprint of factory workers may not be a suitable option as their hands are rough from daily task at the factory, therefore the Face ID models are suggested.

All in all although it was a small exhibition but we had about 35-40 visitors per day. IONS had sent a team to assist us during the exhibition and we receive tremendous feedback from visitors as they are very much intrigued by this advanced technology product. We highly appreciate the support and assistance given by our partners. We hope this is the starting point to market FingerTec products successfully in Cambodia and we hope to return again in the upcoming year.
