The response from the show went well. FingerTec SA’s participation was mainly to create brand awareness for the company among the security industry, although several new sales leads were gained from the show. There were many competitors who were present at the show from famous brand names, however FingerTec SA’s appeal to end-users was still rather high as they emphasize themselves as a service-related product, which gives users a confidence in the support of the product, and thus the brand.
Several popular models were chosen to be displayed at the booth which was the Face ID 3, TA100C, Q2i, and the H2i, as they have all vast difference in terms of features and application do different industries. The face recognition terminal, the Face ID 3 received the most curious looks, as usual, and we conducted several demonstrations on how the terminal works. There was also quite a bit of interest in GPRS terminals and quite a few promising leads to follow up from there.
