FingerTec in EFEX Efficiency Expo, Curacao

The Efficiency Expo (EFEX) is a bi-annual affair for the Information Technology and Electronics sector. It showcases all the latest and the best from the vast areas of technology and efficiency such as internet providers, software solutions, consumer and business devices, and so on.

This year, we at Titania IT N.V., a relatively new FingerTec Authorized Reseller, took part in the expo as part of our marketing and clientele sourcing activities. The opening night on Thursday started out well with a healthy crowd of visitors, with a relatively constant crowd coming in the next two days. At Titania’s booth, we displayed the FingerTec Keylock 8800 as a home solution and TA100C for businesses, which was a crowd-puller since the first day itself. Many stopped to inquire about our products, while many others were simply curious at the less conventional time attendance devices.

The exhibition had moderate traffic which allowed for more time with each visitor.

Although the attendance wasn't as high as we expected, this left us more time to explain to people what the system does and how it can be used. We could focus on quality instead of quantity and as a result, we managed to secure a couple of promising leads from new clients.

We also prepared folders with various brochures and our company information for the event, to be given out to the public. Many were glad to receive this and mentioned that they would pass it on to their IT/HR division for further consideration, and some service providers were also looking to resell the products as some of their clients requested for it.

At the end of the exhibition, although not having as much traffic as we would have liked at the EFEX, we did manage to generate some useful leads in the end, and while doing that we also managed to spread the brand awareness for FingerTec here in Curacao. We hope that this participation will be a beginning to many open doors for us in the future!
