Feria Internacional de Seguridad (also known as the International Security Fair) is a renowned security fair in Colombia that draws a host of quality exhibitors and visitors and the 2013 edition held between the 9th till the 11th of October was met with great success. Held at the International Business and Exhibition Corferias in the city of Bogota, the fair proposes solutions on all topics providing comprehensive security coverage in physics and electronics, industrial labor and computer security and applied to the fields of civic, business, industrial and corporate security. A total of 300 exhibitors with 12,000 visitors from the Andean Region, Central America and the Caribbean made up a packed three days during the security fair and one of those 300 exhibitors was FingerTec distributor, 3Pointech S.A.S.

During the exhibition, 3Pointech showcased a variety of FingerTec products throughout the three days they were there and they were able to attract a lot of visitors to the booth. Some of the products on display included face recognition terminals, such as the Face ID series, the Keylock series of door lock terminals and popular devices, such as the TA100C and AC100C. Biometric devices, such as the one offered by FingerTec, have proven to be a hit during the exhibition. Many of those who dropped by the 3Pointech booth were blown away by the quick response in verification of the devices, with only just a few seconds to take for anyone to verify their identity and attendance. The Keylock series was also popular among those who wanted a much more secure terminal for their storage rooms and unsurprisingly, everyone was impressed with the Face ID series, thanks in part to its contactless attribute and sleek designs. Overall, the exhibition proved to be a success for 3Pointech, who managed to acquire a strong number of potential clients.
