After performing a brief online research on biometric products that can be used in their workplace, the company chose devices from the FingerTec brand. The TA103R is installed all over the office for time attendance purposes, while FingerTec R2 was installed in the main entrance and other areas that needs door access restrictions. The company also integrated a FingerTec OFIS scanner which connects to a PC and acts as an enrolling station for the fingerprints.
Although the employees of Venture Electronics were resistant to using the new and novel system at first, it took just a couple of hours of NexPro’s training and getting to know the system to convert the perception of the employees. With their new system, Venture Electronics can now track the movement of their staff as well as visitors that come in to the premises.
