iKadex
– Slave Reader for Kadex Card System!

iKadex is an RFID slave card reader to pair with FingerTec® terminals with card function for example Kadex, R2, i-Kiosk 100, i-Kiosk 100 Plus, Q2i and TA200Plus. iKadex can also work with 3rd party controller as RFID card capturing stations. It reads the card ID on the RFID card and sends the ID to the master terminal for verification. By having this feature, master terminal controls the IN movements, and iKadex controls the OUT movement. Upgrade of FingerTec terminals with antipassback feature is also available to provide a more secured access control.

iKadex sends information to master terminal by 26-bit or 34-bit Wiegand output. When iKadex works with FingerTec® terminals, 26-bit Wiegand output is the communication method. However, for any 3rd party controller that supports 34-bits Wiegand input, it can adopt the Wiegand output from iKadex. Hence, installation of iKadex as a card capturing station with 3rd party controller to become a card access solution is possible. Check the technical specifications of iKadex below.

HID® Cards for FingerTec® models

Some FingerTec® models can support card verification and the types of card supported by FingerTec readers include RFID, HID or MIFARE. However, when it comes to HID cards, there are various types in the market and before you place your order, we require you to check the specifications of the card to determine its compatibility. By default, FingerTec® models can support HID 1326 (ProxCard® II) and HID 1386 (ISOProx® II). Please click here to refer to the types of HID cards. Nonetheless, to make sure that FingerTec readers read your preferred cards, please send us 5 pieces of HID cards as sample along with its technical specifications.
