Located at the Hotel Menara Peninsular Jakarta Indonesia on 15 January 2009, FingerTec Worldwide Sdn Bhd in collaboration with its esteemed Indonesia partner, PT Retailindo Tech had staged a successful launch of FingerTec TA100 DIY, the standalone fingerprint product for time attendance. More than 100 invitations were sent and the crowd turn up was encouraging considering the unfavorable weather of Jakarta on the day. Mr Eviek Gunawan, Director of PT Retailindo had extended invitations to all FingerTec dealers in Jakarta and from the neighboring states.

TA100 DIY was launched in Jakarta with a target to replace the conventional punch card machines, which are widely used by smaller offices around Indonesia. TA100 DIY is a true standalone fingerprint product that does not require any software for data download. Settings are done through the keypads and reports are transferred via USB flash disk, printable in html format. The simplicity and the cost of the TA100 DIY are the two factors, which attract consumers to replace the punch card system with fingerprint machine. Upgrade of TA100 DIY to a TA100 reader with software is possible at a very reasonable as and when it is required. Mr Eviek Gunawan was confident that TA100 DIY could tap into the conventional office automation market successfully considering the population of Indonesia and the amount of small offices in the country.

Guests were explained on the features and benefits of TA100 DIY in the product presentation done by Mr Ilham Maulana Mim and Mr Suryarima from PT Retailindo Tech. The event was held from 11 in the morning until 5 pm, ended by a motivational talk from the renowned motivator in the country, Mr Haryanto Kandani. Ms Cindy Wowor chaired the event and representative from Malaysia, Ms Norana Johar was present to officiate the launch.
